I love pears. I really love roasted pears. Try them!
Foil-Wrapped Roasted Pears
1 tbs butter, soft
1 tbs brown sugar
whipping cream or cool whip
foil for wrapping
Cut your pears in half and scoop out the middle. (I peeled mine too, but you don’t have to). Mix butter, brown sugar, and a dash of cinnamon together in a small bowl. Place a spoonful of brown sugar-butter mixture into the center of each pear. Sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon. Wrap each pear in foil, tightly. Place on a baking pan and bake for about 40-60 minutes (depends on size of pear) at 350 degrees.
Let cool for about 10 minutes. Top with whipping cream, cool whip, or even a scoop of ice cream!
