Super Bowl Food: Creamy Chicken Nacho Sauce

Nachos are a Super Bowl food must-have in my book! They are easy to make and can easily feed the masses.  This creamy chicken nacho sauce makes doing both even easier.

Throw everything into your crock pot Sunday morning and you’ll have a game-time snack ready to be devoured!

My friend Megan, shared this recipe with me a while back.  I was at her house and asked what she had cookin’ in her crock pot.  She said something like “this creamy chicken sauce we put over chips.” I’m a sucker for chips and any kind of creamy chicken sauce, so I got the recipe from her, tried it, and loved it!

Creamy Chicken Nacho Sauce

Ingredients
1-2 (10 oz) cans cream of chicken soup (I used 1 1/2)
2 (7oz) cans diced green chiles
1 (14 oz) can black beans, drained
1 (14oz) can Rotel
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 frozen chicken breasts
Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
Place everything in the crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours (or high for 2-3).  Remove chicken breasts and shred with a fork, then return to crock pot.  **I stirred in about a 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese before serving.
Serve over chips and garnish with sour cream, cheese, and avocado.

This serves 4, so you’ll definitely want to double or triple this for your Super Bowl Party.

mmmm that looks sooo good. Might just have to try that one this year. Is it weird that I am more excited to cook for the super bowl than to actually watch it?
