Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp onion, minced
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 8 leaves lettuce
  • 4 hamburger buns, sliced in half

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to high heat.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, red pepper flakes and onion.
  3. Add ground turkey and mix together with hands or a large wooden spoon.
  4. Divide into 4 even patties about 1 inch thick.
  5. Place on grill for 6 to 8 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired temperature.
  6. On each bun, place one leaf of lettuce and one slice of tomato.
  7. Remove burger patties from grill and place each patty on the bottom bun.
  8. Place the top half of the bun on top and serve.
