How To Make Strawberry Thumbprint Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup walnuts, crushed
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream butter and sugar in a medium-sized bowl using an electric mixer. Add egg yolks and vanilla.

Slowly add flour. Shape one-half inch balls and dip in egg whites.

Roll in nuts. Place cookies on a cookie sheet one inch apart. Press thumb into middles of each cookie and insert 1/2 teaspoon jam
