Slim-Fast’s New Best Tasting Shakes Ever..

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Slim-Fast. All opinions are 100% mine.

I live a pretty active lifestyle and love to exercise, and despite what you see on this blog sometimes, we do eat pretty healthy around here.  So for me, I’m usually just trying to maintain my weight.    Since I’m pregnant right now I’m definitely not trying to lose weight but instead just trying to make sure I gain a healthy weight throughout the pregnancy.

However, over the past few years there have been times when I’ve gained a little weight and had a good 5-10 pounds I’ve wanted to lose.  Haven’t we all been there?  Especially after the Holidays?  That’s usually when I do all of my damage:)

If you are trying to lose weight or even just trying to maintain your weight this year, Slim-Fast new shakes and 3-2-1 plan can help!  You can reach and maintain your goals without sacrificing taste too.  I’ve used Slim-Fast shakes before and love the taste of the chocolate ones! But the new Slim-Fast shakes are even better.

They will wow your taste buds, provide up to four hours of hunger control and offer 10 grams of protein, five grams of fiber and 24 essential vitamins and minerals, making it easier for you to stick to your plan and achieve your goals.

Their shakes now come in a convenient little bottle that’s designed to go everywhere – from your purse to your desk or gym bag. I’m not a big breakfast girl and am usually drinking a shake on my way to the gym in the morning, so I love the convenience of these!

Flavors available in the new bottle include:
• Creamy Milk Chocolate
• French Vanilla
• Rich Chocolate Royale
• Cappuccino Delight
• Strawberries N’ Cream

If you are really looking to shed some weight the 3-2-1 Slim-Fast Plan might be just what your looking for.  What’s great about the plan is it’s flexibility– you can get the structure you want and the variety you crave.

And the 3-2-1 Plan is simple:
• 3 Snacks: Three nourishing snacks a day such as Slim-Fast 100-calorie snack bars, fruit, nuts or veggies between meals
• 2 Slim-Fast Shakes or Meal Bars per day: Slim-Fast shakes and meal bars are delicious and satisfying, providing the balanced nutrition of a meal and up to four hours of hunger control
• 1 Balanced Meal: Enjoy one balanced 500-calorie meal per day. As a rule, try to fill half your plate with veggies, a quarter with protein, and a quarter with whole grains

If you are interested the new Slim-Fast shakes are available in the pharmacy sections of grocers and retailers nationwide, including Wal-Mart, Target, Safeway and Kroger and online at Amazon.com and the Slim-Fast 3-2-1 Store on Facebook.(You can like Slim-Fast on Facebook too!)

Do you think the Slim-Fast 3-2-1 Plan can help you with your weight loss/management goals this year?  (Maybe if I quit posting so many sweets?)

Which of their products are you most excited to try?

Although I’ve never tried the 3-2-1 Plan, I have used the shakes to help maintain my weight– drinking them for breakfast and/or for an afternoon snack. So I am most excited to try the new Shakes in their new bottles! They’ll be the perfect grab-n-go on my way out the door in the mornings!

My Favorite HEALTHY Eats of 2011

Happy 2012!  How is your New Year going?  I have to say the first few days of 2012 have been a bit of a whirlwind.
After being gone for almost two weeks, we made the 8 hour drive back to Utah on Saturday and had company stay with us through Monday.
I barely stayed awake to ring in the New Year–I may have even dozed a few times before the big count down.
I’ve done a bajillion loads of laundry in the last two days, grocery shopped like a mad woman, and we even squeezed in dinner with friends to watch The Bachelor on Monday (And oh boy, isn’t this season going to be a drama-filled doozy? Can’t wait!)
I have great intentions to start the year out with healthy recipes for everyone, but first I need to relax…and then fold more laundry.  So until then, enjoy some of my favorite healthy dishes from 2011

My favorite winter meal…warm, hearty, and healthy!

Feta-Avocado Turkey Burgers

These two were both summer favorites!

Naked Turkey Burgers with Sauteed Spinach & Mushrooms

Bell Pepper & Feta Quinoa Salad

An anytime favorite! Light, refreshing, and zesty!

Blueberry Oatmeal Bread

The bread that I ate single hand-idly ate in a day.

Low-Fat Roasted Veggie & Chicken Spread

My favorite snackity-snack…

Healthier Strawberry Almond Oatmeal Cookies

Favorite sweet treat…

Buffalo Wing Turkey Lettuce Wraps

And the hubby’s favorite….

Promise to be back soon with some healthy dishes! I’m determined to make 2012 a healthy one (after all, I’ve got a bun in the oven that I’ve got to cook just right!) with of course a touch of sweet little treats along the way!
