Crack Brownies

I had one request for Mother’s Day yesterday.  These Crack Brownies.  Brett had every intention of making them for me, but I got impatient and made them Friday night.  Half of the pan was gone by Sunday! Oopsie.  I first saw this brownies over at  Pip & Ebby and have just been dying to try them!

My mom was telling me about these as she was making them a week or so ago.  I couldn’t believe all of the stuff that goes into them.

But it’s all stuff I love, so I knew I had to try them.

I’m talking a layer of brownies topped with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Marshmallows and Peanuts….

Topped with a Chocolate-Peanut Butter Rice Krispie layer.  Heellloooo?? What’s not to love about ALL OF THAT in every single bite?

Brett and I both agree this Rice Krispie layer, is what makes these brownies crack-like….so dang addicting.  Not that we really know a thing about crack.

I have some Nutella I’ve been trying to get rid of- so I don’t eat the rest of the jar with a spoon like last time- and I feel like it would taste great added into the Rice Crispie layer.

Definitely the brownie version of crack.

Do you use the 9×13 pan size brownie mix, or do you just use a regular brownie mix? I see that it goes into a 9×13 pan, but since you might not want the brownies to be as thick as usual, I can see where you might want to use the smaller size box of mix.

These were absolutely phenomenal! I used a box (18.75 oz.) of Ghirardelli Chocolate Supreme brownie mix and baked for 30 minutes. It turned out PERFECT! I made using my brownie edge pan and had my husband take into work to share as well as bring a couple pieces to a coworker who ended up making then that weekend! Very addicting!
