BBQ Chicken Ranch French Bread that’s perfect for game day or a quick and easy week night meal!
Gotta game to watch this weekend? This bread right here is some seriously good game day grub, and easily feeds a crowd. Don’t get me wrong, it makes for a great dinner too. It’s basically like pizza on a crusty loaf of french bread. I made it a few weeks ago for a little football party we had and it was a huge hit! Not a single slice left.
What’s great about these french bread pizza bread thingies is you can really top them with whatever you want. Go traditional pizza style with pizza sauce, pepperoni, and cheese. Or cater to the men and make it buffalo chicken style with wing sauce, cheese, blue cheese, and ranch.
But this combo of BBQ Chicken & Ranch is my favorite.
French bread loaded with cheese, barbecue sauce, barbecue chicken, onion, avocado, some chopped cilantro and a drizzle of ranch dressing. Broiled to hot and bubbly, cheesy perfection.
A must make this weekend!
- 1 loaf french bread
- 3 cups shredded chicken (I use rotisserie)
- 1-2 cups BBQ sauce
- 3-4 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 avocado, diced
- Ranch dressing
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Toss the shredded chicken with 1 cup bbq sauce (use more or less if desired). Cut the french bread in half length-wise. Spread a thin layer of bbq sauce on each half of the bread. Top with mozzarella cheese (about 1 1/2 cups on each slice). Top with bbq chicken, onion and avocado (dividing evenly among each half).
- Broil for 3-5 minutes until cheese melted and bubbly. Sprinkle cilantro over the top and drizzle with ranch dressing. Cut into thin slices and serve.
