How To Make Easy Bean Dip

This bean dip is loaded with creamy cheese, spicy chiles, and tangy sour cream. Serve these up with your favorite chips for a fun and light snack!

Ingredients

  • 4ozcream cheesesoftened
  • 16ozrefried beanscanned
  • ½taco seasoningpackage
  • 4ozmild green chilesdiced and drained
  • ½ cupsour cream
  • 2green onionsdivided
  • ¼cupjalapenoschopped, optional
  • 3cupscheddar cheesedivided

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. Slice the green onions, then divide the white and green portions. Set the green part aside.

  3. Combine the cream cheese, refried beans, taco seasoning and sour cream in a bowl.

  4. Mix with a hand mixer until fluffy.

  5. Add the whites of the onions, jalapenos, chiles and 2 cups of cheddar cheese.

  6. Spread into a 2-quart or 8 x 8-inch baking dish.

  7. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.

  8. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until hot and the cheese has melted.

  9. Serve with tortilla chips, and enjoy!
