Peanut Butter M&M Marshmallow Cookies. Oh my!

I’ve gone from craving citrus fruits and anything sour in my first trimester to nothing but chocolate and peanut butter {and anything sweet} in my second trimester.  I’ve got to get control of it.
And control over these cookies.  They happened yesterday.  They are dangerous. Someone come eat them for me, PLEASE.
However, I think baby boy is loving the sweet cravings.  He goes on wild kicking streaks immediately after I eat something sweet.  We are talking seconds.  I think he’s telling me he likes.  Does the sugar really get to them that fast though? Maybe it’s because I eat several in one sitting….

I’m such a sucker for a good peanut butter cookie, and these Perfect Peanut Butter Cookies have been a long-time favorite, until I made these.  Here you get a peanut butter cookie loaded (like really loaded!) with Peanut Butter M&M’s and gooey marshmallows.

For now, they’re sealed up and hiding in the highest corner of my pantry to help me exercise some control.  As if that will stop me.  Because stepping up on to the stool that is so conveniently placed in my pantry is so much work.  Crap!

Someone come quick.

Peanut Butter M&M Marshmallow Cookies
1/2 c. butter flavored Crisco, soft
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp.milk
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. Peanut Butter M&M’s
3/4 c. mini marshmallows
Preheat oven to 350.
In a medium bowl combine flour, salt, and baking soda and set aside.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat Crisco until smooth.  Beat in peanut butter, then sugars.
Add egg, vanilla, and milk and beat until smooth.  Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
Lastly, gently stir in Peanut Butter M&M’s and marshmallows.
Place rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.  Bake for 8-9 minutes.  Let cool for a few minutes before moving to a cooling rack.
***you might get some oozing marshmallows but just let them cool-they’ll still taste terrific, just look a little messy:)

haha! That is the same with me-although it’s been my 3rd trimester. Give me chocolate, peanut butter, and more chocolate. It’s really hard. These look delish!

I attempted to make these tonight. I am having trouble with the dough being too crumbly and not wanting to stick together. I added a little more milk so we will see what happens. I just put a few in to see how they turn out. Might just make bar cookies with the rest of the dough.

Ooh yum! Question about the marshmallows, though… I one tried adding them to a cookie recipe (didn’t make any changes to the directions), but when the cookies cooled, the marshmallows hardened and were not the ooey-gooey i was hoping for. Did yours stay gooey or did they harden too?

I just made a batch. It made 42 cookies. My grandkids don’t like peanut butter (crazy, I know) so I used Cookie Butter (Biscoff) instead, and then used regular M&M’s. I used 1/2 cup of the tiny, mini M&M’s and a 1/2 cup of regular sized. The marshmallow really leaked out. I wonder if chilling the dough before baking, would help this situation? Thanks for the recipe!!!
